DearDoctor can record a consult so a draft letter can be prepared. The doctor reviews that draft before it is used. This page is for clinic staff. It describes the product as it is copied today, using the fictional Acme Clinic only as an example.
What this copy does
- A video consult or an in-person recording can be stored for the clinic so a letter draft can be produced.
- The doctor is responsible for the letter. The draft is not a finished clinical record on its own.
- Sign-in for this portal is still the access gate copied with the site. Clinic login, roles, and mail are later phases.
What to tell a patient
Ask before a consult is recorded, and stop if the patient says no. Do not describe a retention period, an access log, or a consent gate that this copy does not implement.
Questions about how a clinic wants this explained go to that clinic's own lead. Acme Clinic in the examples is fictional.
